We are proud to announce that our doctoral student, Ms. Maria Woźniak, has been awarded the prestigious "France Excellence" French Government Scholarship. As part of this distinction, she will undertake a one-month research internship at the Roland Mousnier Center at the Faculté des Lettres of Sorbonne University in Paris.
The research stay will allow her to carry out a project focused on 17th-century polemical and anti-Islamist literature in Europe. During her stay, Ms. Woźniak will join the research group "Anthropologie du Religieux", enabling collaboration with international scholars working on related topics. Her work will benefit from access to the scholarly resources and infrastructure of one of the most prestigious humanities centers in France.
Ms. Maria Woźniak is a researcher at the Center for Kitab Studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University. Her doctoral dissertation is supervised by Dr. hab. Joanna Kulwicka-Kamińska, Professor at NCU, who supports her research on the history of ideas and textual culture in 17th-century Europe.
Our warmest congratulations to Ms. Woźniak!
